I’m absolutely thrilled with my breast augmentation from Dr. Soto ! The consultation and pre surgery process was thorough but easy to understand. The surgery was quick, I was home within a few hours and on my feet that night. The recovery was relatively painless after the first few days, no drains required and felt almost back to normal in 3 days. After 6 weeks I have natural looking full C cups that look the way they did before I had kids. Best decision I’ve ever made. Dr. Soto and his staff are exceptional. I had breast implants for 17 years. I wanted them explanted not replaced with that decision came some concerns. I needed to make sure I was in the hands of an experienced plastic surgeon, board certified, practicing in my local area for many years, and knowledgeable in explanting because my implants were encapsulated. It was extremely important that I felt comfortable with my surgeon, that he was honest, that I could ask questions and that his surgical recommendations was the best options for my situation. I wanted to feel emotionally content with the after results considering I was accustomed to my implants for so long. I absolutely loved the entire process, the pre and post op safety measures, the open communication and the care of my surgeon and his staff. I had a consult with another surgeon. I am overall so happy with my results, everything I asked from Dr.Soto he delivered. In addition, the staff here is extremely friendly. Walked in as a patient and leaving a friend. They answered any all questions I had, they guided me through the pre-op and post-op procedures and help me decide what size I wanted. Just overall an amazing experience! Life-Changing Experience with Dr. Soto – Beyond Grateful! I was proud of my weight loss journey, but the excess skin took a toll on my confidence, especially around my legs. My stomach was my first priority, but I had no idea that this procedure could improve my stomach, legs, and backside all at once. Dr. Soto also repaired my abdominal muscles, and that has made a huge difference in both my core strength and overall definition. I truly can’t believe the results. I’m beyond happy. My recovery was smooth and seamless. Dr. Soto saw me in the office every single week for six weeks. I just had my 2nd surgery with Dr. Soto and I could not be happier with the results. I had a breast augmentation with a lift and told him what I wanted to look like and he exceeded my expectations. I trust him and his staff implicitly and love that he truly listened to what I wanted with both of my surgeries. The entire staff provide such a positive atmosphere and are so friendly all the time! After researching tummy tuck options following the birth of my fourth child, I felt confident enough to call this practice in January 2024 to schedule a consultation. Like many moms, I was feeling vulnerable and self-conscious about my body. A tummy tuck felt like the next step to help me regain my confidence. Sadly, I never got past the phone call. The woman who answered asked a few questions, including my height and weight. I told her I was 5'4" and 235 lbs. Her tone immediately changed, and she told me they couldn’t schedule a consultation because they don’t see patients with a BMI over 30. I was shocked. I wasn’t just seeking cosmetic help, I was beginning a personal healing journey. To be dismissed so quickly, without compassion or support, really crushed me. I never forgot how that call made me feel. It’s taken me this long to write this because the experience stuck with me. But please don’t feel sorry for me, 2024 turned out to be a transformative year. I’ve since lost 121 pounds and feel stronger than ever. I’m not writing this to criticize the surgeon, I never even met him. I’m writing to raise awareness. I understand medical policies exist, but there’s a more sensitive way to communicate them. A kind word, some guidance, or even offering resources would have made a huge difference. People calling for consultations are often already feeling vulnerable. A little compassion can go a long way. This review isn’t to be negative, it’s just honest. I hope it encourages more empathy in how these conversations are handled.

Hi there. We are always grateful to receive the honest feedback of the people who contact or visit our practice, and are sorry we didn't meet or actually exceed your expectations. Having done a little research on this subject, it appears your call was handled by a staff member who is no longer with us and indeed was struggling to meet our internal expectations for performance. Sometimes the old adage that "it's hard to find good help" does apply- but in any case we are very sorry your experience and first impression of us was affected this way. It is true that plastic surgery is not ever a good idea for patients who are significantly over weight (BMI above 30), and is best considered a body contour/shape solution after weight loss. This has been our policy for many years, because the fact is that surgical procedures carry significantly more risk for patients above this range, and our goal for every single patient we see is to first prioritize their safety. But it sounds like she should have communicated this to you much more gently and kindly. It is also a fact that we have now integrated a weight loss clinic into our practice, so that we no longer need to turn nice people like yourself away- we simply help them lose the weight first, and then they benefit from a courtesy reduction in fees for their desired body contouring surgery. I would also congratulate you on your dramatic weight loss. I'm sure you are much happier and healthier at this point. So again, I am very sorry you were treated this way and would love yo have the opportunity to recover your esteem.
