Laser Skin Treatments

Laser treatments can improve rosacea, wrinkling, pigment problems, acne scarring, sun damage and skin texture.

Laser can be used on the face, décolleté, hands, back—almost anywhere on the body. Dr. Soto has a laser specifically designed for hair removal as well.

At Aesthetic Enhancements, all laser skin treatments are performed only by nurse practitioner Michelle Boone, using the new Micro-Factional CO2 laser, the Mixto. The Mixto is particularly exciting, as patients receive the benefits of CO2 lasering (which has been the “gold standard” for lasering for many years) without the downside of a long recovery period. Plus, unless you have very deep wrinkling or skin damage, a single treatment with the Mixto replaces the need for several treatments with other lasers. If you require more than one treatment to solve your skin concerns, your treatments can be spaced a month apart, compared with the 3-6 month wait required by other laser technologies! This means you can look younger sooner!

Full recovery from a Mixto laser treatment is only about 5-6 days, compared with CO2 recovery of 2-3 weeks! And, makeup can be applied within 48 hours, a huge improvement over the 10-day recovery other laser procedures require.

Pharmaceutical Skin Care

With so many skincare products available today it can be difficult to decide which products are best for you and those that will be most beneficial!

If you’re unsure whether to purchase your skin care at the drug store or at our office, you may want to consider having a Skin Care Consultation with our Nurse Practitioner, Michelle Boone, ARNP. Within our practice we carry Pharmaceutical Skincare products that will provide your skin with much higher levels of antioxidants and pharmaceutical grade ingredients than those available to you over the counter because they are sold under the care of your physician. Pharmaceutical Skincare products also utilize delivery systems and peptides to allow the beneficial ingredients to be absorbed and delivered much deeper into the skin than department store products.
